Reiki is an ancient Japanese hands-on healing technique. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei meaning "Universal Life Force" and Ki meaning "Energy". It is administered by a "laying on of hands" in which the practitioner becomes the conduit for the energy which flows to the receiving person or animal.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, harmony and wellbeing, Many have reported miraculous results.

A Word About Christina - Christina has practiced Reiki on people for several years. She has recently discovered that animals were "calling upon her" for assistance. Combining reiki with her innate intuitive abilities has allowed her to be more receptive to "hear" and "see" the thoughts and pictures your pet may have regarding health issues, behavioral problems, etc.... This has helped her clients obtain a more harmonious and healthy relationship with their pet and with themselves.

• Soul Impressions

Soul Impressions are what I call the information I receive intuitively of you, your energy body, or aura, and your chakra centers.

During a meditation I will focus on your name and age. I ask for guidance, protection and healing. My eyes are closed until I need to write the information on a pad of paper. The information can come quickly or take several minutes. Eventually the flow begins and I start to "see" and "feel" symbols, pictures and colors. I write erratically and draw as quickly as I can. The page ends up very messy. Later I will use colored pencils and neat writing to fully illustrate your personal Soul Impression.

There are seven chakras that I get information on. They begin at the base of the spine and go up to the top of the head.

For instance, I could see a book at your crown chakra, the chakra at the top of your head. It could mean that you are writing a book or that you need to write a book. Your soul or higher self is showing me that this would be beneficial to you and/or your growth and that this is a gentle nudging for you to do so. Most likely you already know this and are doing something about it or you need yet another source to let you know that this is the time for you to act.

Another example is getting an impression of a father issue in the heart chakra. That there is or was an emotional charge with someone who is or was a father figure to you. I could "feel" that you have just gone through this and it is indeed healed or that some healing needs to occur so that you both can move on to peace and love whether it is on an energy level or on a physical ,day to day basis.

Healings are beneficial in any form when they bring peace and wellness to you. They bring great insight and healing for your pet (s) as well . Often they have messages for you. Usually information is given regarding a specific tool to help you with any situation so that, if you desired, you would have a way to heal this particular issue.

• Raindrop Technique

The Story of Raindrop Technique - Dr. Gary Young developed the Raindrop Technique ® during the 1980s based on his research with essential oils as antimicrobial agents, and prompted by some fascinating information he learned from an elder among the Lakota Indian Nation in South Dakota. This Lakota elder related that several generations ago, his ancestors regularly migrated north across the Canadian border into the northern regions of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, where they often witnessed the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. When the Aurora Borealis was on display, those who were ill or had complicated health problems would stand facing the dancing lights and hold their hands out toward the lights and inhale deeply. Their belief was that the air was charged with healing energy from the Aurora Borealis. Mentally, they would "inhale" this energy into their spine and then out through nerve pathways to afflicted areas of the body.

This process stimulated an incredible healing effect for many of his ancestors. Effleurage (feathered finger stroking) became associated with this tradition after the borders were closed and the Lakota could no longer migrate north. Restricted to their reservations, they began practicing this energy process mentally, coupled with light stroking to facilitate the spreading of energy through the body.

It was this tradition that provided the promptings and began the process that gave birth to the development of Raindrop Technique ®. RT is based on the idea that many types of scoliosis and spinal misalignments are caused by viruses or bacteria that lie dormant along the spine. The pathogens create inflammation, which, in turn, contorts and disfigures the spinal column.
